Job description
DoorCo is an established business that continues to grow and expand rapidly. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Driver to join our busy Transport department in Macclesfield.
As one of our Drivers you will be working in a fast-paced, family-owned company, facilitating the shunting of stock etc. between two sites in Macclesfield. You will also be involved in loading the outbound vehicles each evening.
The role requires someone that is hard working, flexible and enjoys working in a varied environment. The role will require you to work between 12:00-21:00, though initially this will be between 09:00-18:00. Overtime will be available based on the needs of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shunting from two sites in Macclesfield
Logistic planning of vehicle movements for loading
Logistics of safe loading and load plans
Ensuring all vehicles are parked safely within the operating centre
Assisting in general basic maintenance.,
Other ad-hoc duties as needed
Required experience and skills include
· Class 2 driving license
· Digital tacho card (IN DATE)
· Driver CPC (IN DATE)
Desirable experience and skills
· Fork Lift Truck Licence
