The Dalton Group is a family owned business headquartered in West Lothian , Scotland, operating in Scrap Metal Recycling
Serving the whole of central belt from 3 sites,
Due to the continuous growth of the business, we are recruiting for experienced Class 1 & 2 Tipper HGV Driver
Hours of work
7:00am -17:00pm Monday - Friday
The ideal candidates will have;
- Held their Class 1 License for at least one year
- Tipping Experience
- Use of hook lift tipping equipment
- Valid CPC entitlement
- Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of road networks in Edinburgh and the Lothians
- Less than 6 points or less on their license (No DR, DD, CD or IN codes)
- An excellent command of the English language
- Good Customer Service Skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Broxburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Tipper HGV Class 1& 2: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
