Job description

We have recently relocated to Upper Marlboro, Maryland. We have immediate openings for full-time Route Driver positions. Experience is preferred, but will train qualified applicants. Company benefits include: competitive wages, health insurance, vacation and holiday pay. All candidate's must maintain an excellent driving record and pass a DOT physical and drug test.

Route Delivery Drivers are required to deliver snacks and drinks to Public Schools, Convenient stores, and office buildings throughout Maryland. Drivers will drive 24ft Box trucks for delivery.

Route Driver Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading goods efficiently and carefully.
• Reading route sheets thoroughly, and planning trips to save time and fuel.
• Obeying rules of the road and company regulations at all times.
• Ensuring cargo is secured before moving off.
• Communicating with dispatch and contacting customers when required.
• Inspecting the company vehicle, which includes checking tire pressure, fluids, and fuel, and reporting any issues immediately.
• Interacting with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $700.00 - $950.00 per week
