Job description
Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment, including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and forklifts.
- Load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks.
- Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the truck.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload materials onto trucks.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
- Ability to work independently and follow assigned routes/schedules.
