Qualifications Required:

General Description of Post:
To drive vehicles when required and to assist with the maintaining of the vehicles
Purpose:
To drive the College minibus and vehicles as and when required any time during the school term, holidays, weekends and or evenings to meet the needs of the students, visitors and associated events.
Main duties:
· To observe at all times the current legislation and vehicle licensing law, including daily defect report
· Ensure the safety of passengers at all times in compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.
· To portray a professional image and ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times
· Inform the Line Manager immediately of any hazardous situation, defects or non-compliance of Health and safety rules and threat to the wellbeing of any passengers and staff.
· To undertake training as maybe required.
· To maintain the minibus by ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is consistent on a weekly/schedule basis.
· Assist with refuelling of the vehicles.
· To be able to provide additional support as and when required for business continuity.
· Ability to adapt to change in situations
· Co-ordinate journeys to ensure efficient use of time and fuel
· Agree to adhere to the law regarding the wearing of seat belts, driving at the designated speed limit, not being under the influence of any substance or alcohol
· Ensure the correct use of any equipment in the vehicle and taking care of and being responsible for such equipment e.g. sat nav and or dash cam
