Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work in our warehouse and trade counter in Bradford.
The successful candidate will be friendly and outgoing, have good time keeping, be willing to learn, be comfortable working with computers, have a full driving licence and able to communicate effectively face to face with customers.
The role will be in our warehouse and external and will involve: picking and packing orders, receiving and booking in deliveries, serving trade customers and the general public with engineer's supplies including fasteners, tools, PPE and janitorial supplies. A good knowledge of this type of product is desirable. You must be comfortable climbing a ladder to around 10 feet / 3 metres from the ground, be able to read small text with or without glasses and able to lift up to 25kg. Good numeracy and literacy are very important. We may also require you to make deliveries in a van or car or do stock checks at a customer's location. A driving licence is therefore required.
The hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.
