About us
Ashley & McDonough Ltd is a Specialist Mechanical and Electrical, Compliance business delivering top quality services to our social housing customers. Due to long term contract wins we need a super efficient stores person to manage our in-house warehouse.

We require an organised Stores Person to take deliveries and manages stock levels.
Your primary duties include receiving and dispatching goods from the stores, storing goods received appropriately and resolving discrepancies in the delivery of goods.
The duties include:
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Organising parts from the store to the engineer that requires it
Training will include doing record-keeping, checking inventory, tracking stock and unpacking the merchandise. Training on our automated system.
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- GCSE in English and Maths
- One year stock control/ inventory administration
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to stand on their feet for long hours
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00 per year
