Job description
We are seeking a Driver Apprenticeship Learning Coach to join our team based in Tonbridge.
Looking after drivers and shunter drivers, you will provide support and coaching to apprentices, as well as assessing the portfolio of evidence and performance of learners against the knowledge, skills, and behaviour criteria laid out in the relevant apprenticeship standard.
You will safeguard and communicate with learners, carry out progress reviews and support the completion of e-portfolios, and work effectively within the Apprenticeship Team and with Functional Skills tutors, Line Managers, and the Training Team to ensure learners progress effectively and achieve their qualification.
As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to support in the promotion of apprenticeships across the organisation and carry out project work.
We are looking for a pro-active team player, with a strong work ethic to join our highly engaged team.
As a member of the HR team, you will also play a broad role in the delivery of the HR business objectives.

The Ideal CandidateTo be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following in your application;
- Experience of Train Driving.
- Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and Governance
- Ability to build positive relationships with learners, key stakeholders, and colleagues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT applications with experience in producing reports.
- Highly organised and methodical approach to work and able to meet deadlines. Able to effectively manage individual data and keep accurate records.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Shows awareness of goals and standards, ensuring that quality and productivity standards are met.
- Analyses issues and breaks them down into component parts, making systematic and rational judgements based on relevant information.
- Have the initiative to work unsupervised, and undirected.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and coach learners.
