Job description
We currently have an opening for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Drayman/Brewery Assistant. This is dual role, part of the week, you will be delivering orders to our customers and the rest of the week will be in the brewhouse. It is important that you enjoy practical work and that you are prepared to do a job which may be repetitive, physically demanding with heavy lifting. The brewery can be noisy and caution is necessary with some of the equipment and machinery.
You will be involved in all aspects of the brewery production and delivery process. This will range from start of the brewing process to delivering the end product to the customer and a lot in between.
Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
· Cleaning casks & kegs
· Packaging into cask, keg, bottle and can
· Assisting the brewing team throughout the brewing process
· Beer brewing – operating and monitoring brewery equipment
· Assembling, dispatching and delivering orders
· General warehouse duties
· Serving off sales customers when necessary.
· Quality control of the beer
· Basic stock control
· Receiving and handling raw materials
· Cleaning and sterilising vessels, casks, kegs, and production area
· Perform general maintenance tasks
· Assembling, dispatching and delivering orders

· Managing stock control
· Perform general maintenance tasks
· Transporting our products
Starting salary will be National Minimum Wage to be reviewed after your probation, depending on experience.
Full on the job training will be given to the right candidate.
Personal Requirements
· This is a physically demanding role so applicants will need to be strong, healthy and physically fit, and able to do repetitive tasks
· A full driving license is essential, and candidates should be over the age of 25 due to insurance purposes.
· Good practical and manual skills
· Be reliable and responsible regarding Hygiene, Health, Safety and Environmental issues
· Good observational skills
· Flexibility and ability to work on a range of jobs
· Numeracy
· Good communication skills
· Appreciation of basic office computer systems

Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
