Job Title: Domestic Cleaner/Dog Walker
Self-employed position
Approx 10-15 hours but this will increase as time goes on with the potential to have a full diary of regular customers.
Domestic Cleaner Duties:
- Clean homes thoroughly to a high standard expected of each customer.
- Follow any instructions from customers to ensure they are satisfied with every clean.
- Establish a trusting relationship with regular customers who have weekly/fortnightly cleans.
Dog Walking Duties:
- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs at all times
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation through engaging activities during walks
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding behavior management
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by picking up after dogs during walks
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owners
- Build positive relationships with the dogs and establish trust
Qualifications:
- Must have a genuine love for dogs and a strong understanding of their behavior
- Previous experience of cleaning/working with dogs is preferred but not essential
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments in a calm and confident manner
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cleaning customers/dog owners and provide updates at each appointment
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Must be able to drive as appointments can be based up to a 5 mile radius from Cheadle, Staffordshire.
