Job description
Responsible to: Registered Manager/Domicilary Managers
Purpose of Position:
To Provide a cleaning service within the clients home to meet health and safety requirements.
To vacuum, dust and polish where required
To sweep and wash floor areas
To light fires or other sources of heating
To launder/iron clothes or bed linen
To make or change bed
To undertake shopping/payment of bills
Principle Resposibilities:
To visit nominated clients at times directed by the management
To carry out all tasks in a way that demonstrates respect for the privacy, dignity and value of the clients, irrespective of disability or personal circumstances
To summon appropriate assistance in an emergency
All actions should sustain, support and enhance the wellbeing and independence of the clients
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Any other duties reasonably falling within the scope of the position
