M&D Care are looking for a dependable and dedicated Domestic Assistant who is seeking a rewarding job. The role will be working within our Residential care service Tegfan in Ammanford. The successful applicant will be responsible for keeping the service clean and tidy for the people we support, visitors and staff. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those we support.
Role and Responsibilities:
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry areas
- To use a variety of cleaning products paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products
- To maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment
- To dust, mop, vacuum and wipe down all areas of the service
- To ensure all areas meet a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- To clean toilets and bathroom areas
- To keep all communal areas clean and tidy
- To carry out laundry duties when required
- To clean the residents individual flats and bathrooms
The Person:
- You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and be able to maintain high level of hygiene within the service
- You will have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest of standards are maintained at all times
- You will need excellent time management and organisational skills
- You will demonstrate a positive attitude and natural ability to get along with people
- You will have a commitment to excellent customer service
