We are pleased to offer the opportunity to welcome a new member to our fantastic team at Mansfield Canine Centre.

We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic individuals who have a love for dogs to join our team to continue the five star care of dogs at our commercial doggy day care facility in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

There are two jobs one is a zero hour contract but as we believe it is important for staff members to build up a relationship with dogs within our care, in addition to maintaining familiarity of the job role there should always be a minimum of a 19 hour shift available. The second job is a 19 hour contract. Extra shifts are often available and will be offered dependant on demands to our services. We are happy to answer any queries during the interview process.

Job Requirements

- The availability to work from 7.30am - 6pm.

- Flexibility to work Monday - Friday.

-The ability to work in a team.

- The ability to also work as an individual, using initiative and a display of responsibility to confidently care for dogs.

- To understand and implement positive dog handling techniques to safely and effectively care for dogs, maintaining our fantastic reputation.

- To be observant with a good understanding of canine behaviours and body language.

- To have the ability to recognise and react appropriately to a range of possible canine medical needs.
- The ability to communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Reliable punctuality and time management skills.

- A willingness to learn and develop skills.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience working with dogs in a commercial environment.

- Animal/ Canine related qualifications.

- 4 GCSE’s with grade C or above.
