We are based in Exeter wagtastic walks is a established dog walking business.
We are looking for an passionate and enthusiastic person to Join our team as an dog walker.
The role
Comfortable working with animals
Walking multiple dogs in various weather conditions
Helping staff conducting consultations with new clients and complete client information forms
Helping with the training of dogs being walked daily
Keeping vans and crates clean and tidy.
Insuring all dogs have an enjoyable day whilst in our care
Following daily check lists of jobs
Ensuring the safe transportation of dogs along side with one of our staff members
Bathing all breeds of dog
Writing up notes from the dogs behaviour on the walks
Meeting and greeting customers and their dogs
Being confident with all dog breeds is important for this role. Being able to be gentle and patient with anxious and difficult dogs
Good attitude and attention to deal to learn how to enjoy their day. Techniques for dog walking and control will be practiced.
