Happy Little Paws is a small business in South West London. We are professional, agile and innovative.
Duties:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, providing them with exercise and mental stimulation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care at all times.
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets' walking routine, feeding schedule, and any special needs.
- Maintain control of the dogs during walks, using appropriate leashes and harnesses as needed.
- Clean up after the dogs, disposing of waste properly and keeping public areas clean.
- Provide basic grooming, such as brushing or wiping paws, if necessary.
- Monitor the dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owner or supervisor.
Requirements:
- You must live in the Balham, Clapham, Tooting, Wandsworth area
- Previous experience working with dogs or a genuine love for animals.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with dog owners in a friendly and professional manner.
- Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods and perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to specific guidelines provided by dog owners.
YOU MUST:
-Be reliable
-Be DBS checked
-Be physically fit
-Be self-employed
-Have dog handling experience
-Commit to a minimum of 6 months
-Be confident to walk dogs on/off the lead
LOCATION: Balham, Clapham, Tooting, Wandsworth
