Dog walker / Petcare professional, up to £500+ p/w
Waggle & Purr are seeking a reliable and experienced Dog Walker / Petcare professional to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate:
- Have a genuine passion for dogs, cats, and pets of all shapes and sizes
- Have cared for dogs, cats, or other pets in the past. We are particularly interested in hearing from people already in the pet care field, e.g. aspiring groomers, trainers, veterinary nurses etc.
- Be prepared to assist with any basic training needs owners may have for their dog and have a general understanding of dog behaviours
- Be comfortable with the idea of walking up to four dogs at the same time
- Be comfortable with handling dogs, cats, and pets of all shapes and sizes. You will be required to play enrichment games with them, feed them, clean out bowls, and change cat litter. You may also be required to carry out additional duties for our clients and/or their pets
- Be available for work between the hours of 9:30-3:30 Monday – Friday, and willing to occasionally work on Saturday & Sunday.
- Live within 30m drivetime to TW1 postcode
- Possess a valid driver's licence and be prepared to use your vehicle to transport groups of dogs to and from local parks. Your vehicle must also be reliable and have fully functional air conditioning.
- Have a fully functional smartphone with constant access to 4G or 5G. You will be expected to upload high quality content to social media and communicate with our clients. You will also use your smartphone to access company software and applications
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions
- Have good time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, including fluent English.
- Be prepared to undergo a basic criminal record check (DBS)
- Be willing to undergo a 2-week trial / training period.
