Why Emily's Canine Crew?
Emily's Canine Crew specialise in one to one dog walking and we have an exciting opportunity to join our team of passionate dog walkers. We are currently growing as a business and would love for you to come and join us on our adventure.
What we're looking for?
We're looking for a committed and passionate dog walker, to walk our crew members between 9am - 4pm Tuesday to Thursday, with the flexibility to support the team as required. You will be required to walk dogs from the same household, therefore confidence in handling multiple dogs is key.
KEY Requirements:
- Experience and confidence with a variety of dog breeds is required for the job role.
- Own transport is required due to working within rural locations - Full UK driving license.
- A good level of personal fitness is required due to the nature of the active job role.
- Being prepared and committed to work outside in ALL weather conditions.
- Understanding of dog behaviour, body language and a knowledge of positive reinforcement training is required.
- The suitable candidate must have a passion for dogs and their welfare.
- Experience with other animals is an added bonus, as we also provide pet care services.
- Personal traits should include trustworthiness, committed, reliable, honest, patient, punctual and flexible.
- Team player and communication skills are needed.
- Being confident to work alone, and with other members of Emily's Canine Crew.
Additional Requirements:
- Animal Care Qualification(s) are desirable.
- Pet / Canine First Aid Qualification also desirable.
- Willingness to learn and gain recommended qualifications is another desirable trait.
Working Arrangements:
Hours & Days will vary dependent on business needs, and this will be discussed with the suitable candidate in further detail. Expected working hours would be between 9am - 4pm Tuesday - Thursday. Suitable candidates should be available within these hours and days.
Selection Process:
This is a three stage application consisting of;
Stage One: Online Application via Indeed.
Stage Two: An online video interview - This is your chance to tell us about yourself.
Stage Three: A Practical Assessment Day (PAD) - This is your chance to demonstrate your skills.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is a sub-contracting self-employed role.

Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
