Job description
Our organisation is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our new salon at the Holistic Canine Centre in Cardiff Bay.
The welfare of our doggy customers are of the utmost importance to us and we strive to make the environment and grooming experience as stress free as possible. As such, the salon has a brand new Hydrobath and fully electric grooming table along with organic products which contain calming essential oils.
Our in house dog trainer offers desensitisation sessions for the dogs which in turn helps the groomer when the dogs return for a groom.

Duties include:
Greeting our customers, performing standard dog grooming tasks such as bathing, trimming, clipping nails and cleaning ears.
The groomer is also responsible for answering client questions, record keeping and keeping the salon and equipment clean and sanitised.
Responsibilities:
- Offer advice on grooming and pet health.
- Groom animals.
- Monitor animal health and wellbeing
- Suggest treatments or vet referrals.
- Speak knowledgeably about pet grooming products and services.
- Explain grooming procedures to owners and liaising with the them during or after the groom .
- Giving quotes for grooming
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
