Their free roam multi award winning day care facility is made for all breeds of dogs and all ages, with plenty of opportunities for your pet to have energetic play time, rest and relaxation. They provide opportunities for your dog to make great friends and socialise in a safe environment giving you the peace of mind that your dog will have a great day.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Monitor play and behaviour among dogs.
- Learn about appropriate play behaviours in the day care environment.
- Participate in and lead group activities and games with dogs.
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the centre.
- Assist with feeding dogs following a feeding plan.
- Take dogs out for toilet breaks.
- Monitor the health and wellbeing of dogs.
- Clean communal and public areas.
- Assist with meet and greets.
- Adhere to the schedule of activities set for each day.

Qualifications
- No qualifications required
- Applications MUST NOT already hold a level 2 or 3 in Animal Care, this will affect your eligibility and make your application unsuccessful.
Future Prospects
- Further training and senior positions may be available on completion of your apprenticeship
- Dog Handler/Trainer
Training Provided
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 animal care Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
- The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
