Day - Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday /Thursday / Friday

Person Specification
Your Paws Pet Services is looking for a committed and passionate individual to join our team as an ACA. The applicant will be dedicated to providing the highest level of animal care/welfare whilst providing outstanding customer service. The applicant will be looking to further their career within the industry and therefore must hold animal related qualification(s). The applicant must be highly trustworthy and have a clean criminal record, full manual driving licence.
Job Specification
The role of ACA is part-time with the potential to increase hours for the right candidate. The role requires the applicant to work well as part of a team, whilst also being self motivated. The role requires a high level of confidence and care whilst carrying out your duties in public areas. The role will require some bank/public holiday work.
Duties
Our ACA role will manage/run three daily group dog walks with another team member along with solo walking where applicable, working to achieve close relationships with all members of the Your Paws Pet Services family. The role will require the collection and safe transportation of all animals using a Your Paws Pet Service marked vehicle. You'll be assessing your surroundings and acknowledging the behaviour/body language of all dogs within your care, whilst learning each dogs characteristics.The role will also require pet sitting, pet taxing, home visits, cleaning, social media, administration work, and any other duties of reasonable request.
Requirements
Must have
1) Animal qualification
2) Experience in working with animals
3) Full clean manual driving licence
4) Clean CRB/CBS
5) Good time management abilities
6) A welcoming and approachable personality
Beneficial
1) Trained in microchipping
2) Trained in dog grooming
3) Experience in marketing / social media
4) Management experience
5) Further animal qualifications
