This role requires you to provide a high-quality service, formed by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) we have with our customer. You will be working and meeting deadlines in line with their print and document specifications. Using your experience, you'll ensure you produce work of a high quality and is accurate. Excellent time management skills will be used, as you plan and prioritise workloads, consider the technical and delivery requirements, to maximise the department productivity. Using your excellent communication skills, you will inform the Document Services Team Leader (DSTL) if overall workload and completion of key work is unachievable. Canon is seeking those that can use their own initiative if your Team Leader (DSTL)is not available.

What we ask
You will be required to implement and monitor policies and procedures, escalating any recurring non-conformance to the DSTL. Working to customer deadlines you will ensure delivery duties are undertaken as and when required. You'll demonstrate pride and professionalism in all facets of customer service, and be accountable for your work produced on site. With regards to record keeping, you will ensure all required records are completed and maintained, and provided upon request to customers and/or the management team, including job volume information.
Supporting the DSTL, you'll support the introduction of service enhancements and developments and will respond to customer requests, enquiries and complaints in a prompt and efficient manner, meeting demands pro-actively where possible. Using your excellent communication skills, you will communicate with customers consistently and will have the confidence by asking, to understand their needs as well as promote the services being offered. Having a flexible approach to work, you may be asked to undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by DSTL or senior management.

You'll need previous experience in a reprographics and mailroom Document Services related role and in particular you will need to have the experience of operating high-volume mono and colour sheet-fed Reprographic presses and to be proficient with the operation of typical reprographic department finishing equipment (e.g. guillotine, folders, creaser, comb and wire binding machines etc.).
Canon is also interested if you are familiar with workflow/web-2-print software such as Prisma Prepare, Digital Storefront etc. Naturally, you will possess a high level of attention to detail as you have experience in working in the print production environment. Possessing excellent communication skills and with a strong work ethic you'll provide excellent customer service and in particular will be used to working in an environment where you need to work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as part of a Service Level Agreement.
