Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all published design documentation in accordance with company processes and procedures.
- Implement the project Common Data Environment (CDE), including file structure, virtual file links, email file links, security rights, work flows, and voting rights.
- Perform regular checks on assigned security rights and manage and approve user permissions.
- Validate metadata assigned to design documentation.
- Input company Asset Data accurately.
- Verify that all published design documentation adheres to the current approved status.
- Monitor the flow of design documentation and provide advice on any non-compliance.
- Coordinate and oversee the printing of project design documentation.
- Maintain and control the hard copy record of all project design documentation on site.
- Ensure that As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, Health and Safety File, and Post Construction Stage BREEAM documentation are uploaded to the project CDE.
- Monitor and ensure that the site team is working with the latest issue of design documentation.
- Capture and share "Best Practice" with the CDE user group.
- Provide support to all users of the project CDE, offering guidance and training as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Office 365.
- Previous experience working as a Document Controller for a main building contractor/consultancy is essential.
- Familiarity with 4P/Viewpoint software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of IS019650
- Knowledge of BIM protocol
