Offer Description: Document Controller - Construction Our Client, is a well-established construction business based in Manchester specialising in major building projects. They are seeking a Document Controller to join their construction site team managing documents as well as offering admin support. The role will focus on: Undertake all site administration duties as required by the project teams Efficiently manage the transmission and receipt of project information via electronic document management systems and any other site-based systems. To undertake duties in support of the day to day running of the site administration To act as a central point of information for the site teams and management in line with the regional requirements and standards. Keeping the project management teams informed about ongoing, completed- and upcoming tasks as required. Ensuring that all the documents are distributed to relevant people involved as per instruction of project Tracking and reporting on document flow by use of schedules. Assist in project close-out and handover/archiving and filing activities. Fully support the project team and perform reasonable duties to include assisting with health and safety initiatives, community engagement initiatives on site etc. Maintain accurate records of all drawings and other construction documents issued by consultants and ors through each stage of the project. Process a large number of documents daily, including a thorough QA check. · Update and maintain drawing, schedule, and specification folders and library. · Setting up and maintaining document registers. Scanning, uploading all site information including emails. Ideal Candidate: Organised, well mannered & presentable Excellent computer skills and willingness to expand knowledge of other applications Excellent level of literacy and writing skills. Good time management and able to commit and work to deadlines.
