Document Control Team Member
Hinkley Point B Power Station are currently recruiting for Document Centre Team Member within the Technical & Safety Department to manage the sites document control records and systems in line with station procedures.
Over the last 46 years, Hinkley Point B has generated 311 TWh of low carbon and is now entering a new phase in its life- defueling and decommissioning. This involves the safe removal of all spent fuel from the reactor core, the cooling ponds and stores whilst looking ahead and preparing for deconstruction.

Pay, Benefits & Culture
We can offer a competitive salary from £28,422 to £43,009 with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience, and qualifications.

What you’ll be doing
Duties within this role include:
Providing an effective service for the production and amendment of Station documents to include Operational and Maintenance documentation, drawings, and illustrations.- Supporting and controlling management of Station records to comply with Site Licence regulations.
- Carrying out activities in compliance with document and records procedures to ensure that they are managed to satisfy Site Licence requirements, Company security of information obligations, statutory regulations, Company and local directives, procedures, and Safety Rules and to ensure customer focus.
- Developing, loading, and maintaining documents on the Asset Management Suite (AMS)/Controlled Document Management System (CDMS) to ensure that issued documents are readily available.
- Maintaining a record schedule, index, and store records (physical & electronic) to ensure that they are easily retrievable.
Who you are
The successful candidate will need to possess good IT skills and ideally having working knowledge in the following systems:
- Microsoft office packages such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Asset management Systems – (AMS)
- Controlled Document Management Systems (CDMS)
- Abode Acrobat and Adobe Reader
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working within a close team and demonstrate a 'can do’ attitude.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in undertaking document control role and administration duties however for the right candidate full training will be provided.
