Bond Bryan is a multidisciplinary practice comprising Architects, Landscape Architects, Masterplanners and Interior Designers. With a diverse range of award-winning projects in both the public and private sector. We offer our services nationally and internationally from our four studios in Kent, London, Birmingham, and Sheffield.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Document Administrator to join our award-winning Practice based in our Westerham Studio or Sheffield Studio. The successful candidate will assist and support our project teams on a number of schemes across the studio, being responsible for the flow of project documentation and providing general administrative support (as required).
JOB ROLE
The role of the Document Administrator is to support the Document Controllers and the architectural teams in the effective use of Common Data Environments (CDEs) and other technology platforms to meet document/drawing delivery requirements on projects.
The practice utilises a wide variety of CDE platforms and a good working knowledge of Asite or Viewpoint would be advantageous, although further training will be provided on all CDEs. The Document Administrator will undertake the following tasks for the project teams:
- Quality checking architectural drawing codes against client defined protocols
- Uploading and downloading: Drawings, Models, Comments and Documents to various CDEs
- Maintaining accurate records of communicated files
General administrative support. As part of a wider team, the successful candidate may also be requested to provide general administrative support to the office, such as assisting with Documents, Excel files, Stage Reports.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualities:A great pro-active attitude and willingness to help
- Methodical approach and meticulous attention to detail
- Great organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Strong IT skills, including Excel
- Enjoys the challenges of supporting a professional office of diverse and creative people
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at A-C (5-9) including Maths and English, or equivalent
