Job description
Two part time or one full time post has become available with surgery.
This is an exciting role, diverse and no two days are the same. You need to be able to work on your own and organise your own time, prioritising tasks and ensuring you cover both wards throughout your shift.
Venepuncture, cannulation ECG's are your main tasks, however, you are also there to support the junior doctor with deteriorating patients, taking emergency bloods, blood cultures, lactate whilst the doctor is assessing the patient.
This roles duties are multifaceted and fluid. You are there to assist the junior doctors and ACP's in ensuring that investigations are completed in a timely manner, such as venepuncture, cannulation, female catheterisation and dressings of wounds quickly and competently. This ensure that results are back from the laboratories early in order for them to be acted upon.
The successful candidate will need to work on their own fruition and organise their own time. They will need to be able to prioritise tasks appropriately.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city, and with the opening of the new medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. This district general hospital serves the city of Lincoln and the North Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
