DMPK in-vitro Scientist

Oncology R&D DMPK department
The Oncology Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) department provides ADME/PK, as well as translational PK/PD Modeling & Simulation support to all modalities in our discovery and development portfolio.

What you’ll do
You will join a global team of in-vitro ADME scientists that supports our diverse portfolio including small molecules, PROTACs, antibody drugs conjugates (ADCs) and nano-medicines. The qualified candidate will work alongside our DMPK team in Boston (US), maintaining close collaboration within the global department. The position is based in Cambridge (UK).
Accountabilities
Devising and conducting bespoke ADME experimental science to support oncology projects.
Delivering analytical & in-vitro solutions for small molecules including beyond rule of five compounds.
Supporting routine quantitative LC-MSMS bioanalysis for in-vivo pharmacology studies
Recommending and supporting innovations within the discipline
Publishing papers in internationally recognised journals
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Capabilities
first degree in Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Pharmacology ideally followed by MSc/PhD or experience as in-vitro ADME or analytical scientist.
Experience and expertise in several of the following:
Experimental determination of in-vitro ADME properties e.g. metabolic clearance, potential for drug-drug-interactions, permeability or transporter propertiesLC-MS/MS method development and problem solving for quantitative bioanalysis
Cell culture, cell handling and cell-based assays
Development, validation and improvement of in-vitro ADME assays
Excellent interpersonal skills that lead to successful collaborative work-relationships
