Job description
To work at design et al you need to have a keen interest in the design sector, be comfortable working in a luxury market and appreciate the needs of the global design elite, who are our customers . The role is not for everyone, if you want a standard marketing role there are many in Chester, but this isn't one of them. It is neither a call centre environment or a marketing company with a large number of employees, we are a small dynamic creative team.
design et al is a niche publishing company working at the pinnacle of the design sector globally. We publish design books and magazines for the Superyacht & aviation industry, interior design and architecture and hotel design sectors.
We also host some of the most prestigious Awards in the industry, in Venice, London and Capri each year.
This is a new role created for 2023 and we are looking for someone with marketing and sales experience to join our small but dynamic team. You should have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be educated to degree level and have a knowledge and interest in the luxury sector. It would be preferable to have some experience working in this sector.
The role will include a lot of research and developing contacts, marketing to these contacts, building relationships and assisting Senior publishing staff in their work to build relationships with sponsors for The Design Awards. You should have a keen interest in design at the highest level.
Hours Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm . Three days based in the office and two days working from home.
