Currently seeking a District Manager of sales reporting to a Regional Sales Director who will be responsible for delivering incremental growth in revenue and market share in multiple retail channels. The District Sales Manager in partnership with Market Manager, Regional Sales Director, and Sr. Business Development Manager will develop short term, mid-term, and long-term localized sell out strategies and tactics to facilitate the implementation and execution of GTM plans, Sales Generation Programs and to align on optimal field activities.
The District Sales Manager provides critical insights in district and territories by validating, analyzing and interpreting business related data and competitive threats. Sr. DSM creates a culture of accountability in partnership with 3pl organization and ensures operational metrics are achieved and standard operating procedures are consistently followed, through the use of measurement scorecards, dashboards and drill down reporting. Monitor and communicate district and territory improvement plans to all key stakeholders, including improvement to merchandising, operations, sales inventory flow and staffing.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible and accountable to lead, build, and sustain localized strategies to generate revenue and increase market share across competing and at times challenging customers.
- Leverage key insights and market data to develop and recommend specific and targeted sales programs and at time marketing programs to drive market specific revenue & market share.
- Will own and lead monthly, weekly, and quarterly reporting and executive communication of program execution specific to District and impact of initiatives to revenue
- Through insights, relationship management, and solid business acumen will be responsible and accountable to identify, develop, and secure small business opportunities through carrier and channel partners.
- Calculate and evaluate ROI to continually refine investment strategy in order to maximize resources
- Manage a team of 3pl resources indirectly through partnerships and expectations management targeted at driving revenue maintenance and growth and through existing channels.

- Leverage micro and macro insights to develop and build local sales programs and present to Senior leadership
Background/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, plus 6-8 years’ experience in sales and sales management across large geographies.
- Experience in district sales leadership or multi-unit management leading and developing sales strategies
- Demonstrated track record of leveraging critical data to support sales strategies and forecast opportunities in localized markets
- Experience working with National Retailers and/or National Carrier Operators preferred
- Extensive experience communicating cross-functionally, domestically, and up & down an organization both internally as well as with external customers/clients
- Significant track record of operational excellence and optimization across performance metrics and labor planning forecasting
- Strong track record of people management including but not limited to development, coaching, performance management, and organizational design
- Self-starter and willingness to take initiative and drive relevant revenue growth strategies across competing and at times challenging customers
- Experience collaborating with and influencing senior executives across large matrixed organizations
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

- Comfort with ambiguity, able to navigate through uncertain situations and drive for clarity
- Experience handling time-sensitive and confidential business information/challenges
- Travel 50%-70% required
