Job description
This position is accountable for directing proper care, receipt, handling, cleaning, storage and disbursement of all incoming and outgoing supplies and equipment, supportive to department functions, services and programs. Performs a full range of routine and non-routine materials duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures while demonstrating a positive, customer services oriented, courteous, team player attitude.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) a High School Diploma/GED and one year of related distribution experience; B) knowledge of distribution and inventory control functions; C) fluency in English, both verbal and written; D) proficiency in computer keyboarding and 10-key operations; and E) ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly over a time period of 30 minutes, sit for extended periods of time, and facilitate computer input for extended periods of time. Prefer Hospital distribution experience, computerized inventory practices, and knowledge of medical supplies/equipment.
POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period Day shift. This position will require some weekend and after hour Material Distribution coverage and or support.
PAY RANGE: $18.70-$27.10
