We are Hiring! Here at Chester Edwards Interiors, we are looking to expand our team and need an experienced Yard Supervisor.

We are a shopfitting Company working within the planned maintenance/ retail sector, looking to improve our Yard Department by appointing a Yard Supervisor.

MAIN DUTIES

• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment through the promotion good housekeeping with the unit.
• Receiving, inspections, booking in of all goods purchased.
• Oversee storage of stock, equipment and control of Equipment returned to the yard.
• stock checks
• Prepare site ups, collections, and loading.
• Supervision and delegation of yard staff.
• Training of yard staff.
• The procurement, control, issue and recording of the company P.P.E
• Support transport staff as and when required.
• Minimum Health and Safety Competence level of CSCS
• Additional Health and Safety qualifications would be beneficial.
• Hold a current forklift license.
• Experience in a yard or warehouse environment is essential.

Individual Attributes to include, but not limited to:-

• Highly motivated and organized.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to undertake site safety audits.
• Computer literate
• Ability to undertake ownership of tasks.
• Experience in building and construction trade would be beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
