We are searching for a motivated and organized individual to help streamline and execute daily operations in our Manchester-based office, from routing truck drivers and dispatches to providing excellent phone-based sales and customer service. You must be energetic, dependable, possess a positive can-do attitude, love working with people, and not be afraid to jump in and roll-up your sleeves to get things done. This is a full-time position that includes 401K, paid vacations and paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Able to efficiently dispatch small fleet of fuel trucks on a daily basis using oil tank monitors and customer contacts
- Manage Point-of-Sale software for current and upcoming fuel orders
- Control and manage inventory levels for all daily deliveries
- Provide phone-based sales opportunities
- Provide administrative assistance to management team
- Bookkeeping and general office organization
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within the fuel industry or Dispatch preferred
- Extremely good working knowledge of the greater metropolitan Richmond area (125 mile radius) in order to efficiently dispatch fuel drivers
- Efficient with all Microsoft Office software
- Possess good working common sense (and not afraid to use it!)
- Comfortable with bookkeeping and accounts receivable
- Inventory management experience
- Comfortable with phone-based customer service and sales scenarios
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
