General Summary: Answers and processes 911 calls. Dispatches police and fire agencies to emergency and non-emergency calls. Must be able to work well with other personnel and the public.
Training Wage: $20.00 per hour
Starting Wage: $21.10 per hour starting wage with annual step increases - $27.20 top wage
This is full time employment that consists of working 12 hour shifts. Shifts can be days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent certification and at least 18 years of age. Must be dependable, responsible and possess excellent communication skills.
A passing score of 80% or better on an aptitude test and a score of at least 40 NWPM on a typing test are required for consideration.
