Night Shift Emergency Driver Dispatcher
Roseville, MI
OnWay Transport is looking for Night Shift Emergency Driver Dispatcher to join our team at our Roseville office.
We are looking for a new addition to our Night Dispatch Team. We are looking for a positive attitude, willingness to learn and follow process/procedures. Must be computer savvy and have a passion to learn new system software. We use high tech dispatching and GPS mapping software. We dispatch our drivers to medical facilities, hospitals and auto manufacturing centers in Ten (10) states. We are looking for a dispatcher that has great customer service skills, a driven disposition, previous dispatching experience and can work well individually or in a team environment. Hands-on extensive training provided.
Schedule:
- 9pm-9am (Night shift)
- Our Dispatchers work three (3) 12-hour days a week and work a 4th day every other week.
Responsibilities:
- Order Entry.
- Hands on system dispatching (We will train).
- Dispatching Drivers.
- Tracking Drivers.
- Problem Solving.
- Scheduling Pickups/Deliveries.
- Mapping out Routes.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Monitoring TMS systems.
- Auditing orders.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 Years minimal Dispatching Drivers. (Courier and/or Final Mile experience is highly desired).
- 3-4 Years of top-notch customer service experience.
- Technology Savvy and stays abreast of new technology.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) required.
- Must have positive attitude and have the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Experience in Transportation and/or Logistics is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in multi-line phone systems.
- Experience in Dispatch Software or TMS are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
