With 100,000+ sf warehouse in Mississauga and Scarborough, the company is expanding our business to provide their industry-leading cross-border warehousing and logistics solutions. We are looking for a truck dispatcher to join our team and grow with us.
Tasks & Responsibilities
-Scheduling appointments and tracking trucks daily to ensure on time pick-ups and deliveries
-Planning, monitoring, and executing dispatch of all outbound LTL - FTL customer loads
-Communicating with customers and responding to their queries (via phone or email) in a professional and timely manner.
-Continually update customers as to the status of each order as required and solve customer specific freight issues.
-Providing excellent customer service at all times.
-Accurately enter data and create various reports for internal/ external use.
-Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers.
-Follow established procedures for processing bills.
-Collaborates and offers assistance to other team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
Knowledge& Skills
-Previous logistics experience is an asset.
-Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
-Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi task.
-Knowledge of cross border dispatching or highway trucking is preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Experience & Education
-Logistics experience --1 years+
-College diploma required.
