GAC UK is looking for a Disbursement Accounts Assistant to join our Ship Agency support team. Could it be you?

The location of this position will either be in our Aberdeen or Grangemouth office.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Ensure accurate, on-time invoicing and issuance of credit notes through in house operational software systems, assure all mandatory checking including supporting documents & customer instructions followed.
- Send Statement of Accounts (SOA), outstanding receivables follow-up and provide support in recoveries.
- Understand and assure VAT application/customer contracts and rates in each service applied.
- Level 2 evaluation of supplier invoices vs cost allocation in supplier invoice management system, tax invoice requirements and final approval.
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations team if any query or clarification required by customer/principal.
- Assure jobs are closed in operating system. Inform the job-in-charge / Head of Department on any unbilled services or mismatch in job cost.
- Assist in completion of reports and assure on-time invoice dispatch.
