Overview:

The Director will lead a talented team of creatives, contractors and agencies to develop content that meets the needs of our Marketing, Sales, and Property organizations. The Director of Creative Services is responsible for executing the overall visual strategy for the Canyon Ranch aimed at connecting consumers to the brand and inspiring them to become guests and find their well way of life. The Director understands how to craft the wealth of Canyon Ranch content into stories & visual assets (printed, experiential, and digital) that address the organization's business needs and is appropriate for the specific consumer and channel.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A COLLEAGUE
- Content Strategy & Development Calendar: Responsible for setting the strategy and resulting production calendar to meet targeted delivery dates.
- Vision Setting and Competitive Awareness: Builds the capabilities within the team to meet the current business needs and sets the foundation for the brand's growth strategy. Has a deep understanding of the relevant and emerging communication channels and ensures content is developed for those channels.
- Collaboration: Will work across digital marketing, brand marketing and consumer insights to develop the content strategy and calendar. Will partner with sales and property leaders to determine their content needs. Will partner with content producers across the Health & Performance and Spa, Fitness & Beauty teams to source content. Ability to effectively partner with agencies to best leverage the agency's capabilities.
- Brand Protector and Storyteller: Leverages compelling consumer insights and data to drive engaging storytelling. Also, ensures content flows from the brand's foundations and is consistent across platforms.
Other Functions and duties include:
- Actively demonstrates Canyon Ranch service standards and Ethos principles with staff and guests.
- Travels to other Canyon Ranch properties or vendor locations as needed. While ideal candidate is based in DFW, they will likely travel to Tucson on regular basis to meet with direct reports based there.
- Ensure Canyon Ranch content has the appropriate level of production quality across platforms
- Manage resources needed for content creation. Responsible for making effective and efficient decisions as to what is bought, borrowed or rented.
- Supervise team of fulll-time colleagues.
- Participates in meetings as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- 10+ Years of progressive experience in Creative Services
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate an understanding of the philosophy of Canyon Ranch and its practical application. Possess an interest in and knowledge of good nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
- Possess strong understanding of web, mobile, and digital marketing technologies.
- Proficient in graphic design & print materials, Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop).
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving history.
