Salary after Probation: 13,000 GBP Per Month

Production (Manufacturing). This role presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building and overseeing our manufacturing operations from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop the company's production strategy, including short-term and long-term goals.
  • Define production targets, resource requirements, and operational plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including facility setup, equipment selection, process development, and optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant quality standards, while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a skilled production team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high-performance, while providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance operational performance.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to establish strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Coordinate production schedules to meet demand forecasts and optimize inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing

Practices (GMP) and other relevant guidelines.

  • Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to implement and maintain robust quality systems and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with increasing levels of responsibility and experience in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with startup environments and experience in setting up manufacturing operations from scratch is a plus.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards related to pharmaceutical production, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Resilience and ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and guidelines governing pharmaceutical manufacturing, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.
