HERMEQ is a group of companies that’s operations span manufacturing, distribution & installation of non-mechanical plant across the UK & Europe. As Operations Director you will sit on the board of directors & report directly into the managing director. You will be responsible for overseeing all operating activity across the rapidly expanding HERMEQ Group of companies.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Manufacturing & Processing Divisions
- Powder Coating Division
- Transportation (HERMEQ Haulage) Company
- Hire Division – stock, servicing & repairs
- Distribution Sites
It is often said that you have to choose between being the quickest, the cheapest or the best quality. It will be our operations sole objective to provide all three on our core product range. The successful candidate will constantly strive to improve our operational output in order to best serve our customers.
This successful candidate should be focussed on fuelling growth across the business both in the UK & throughout Europe. They will need to be extremely collaborative to work across the business in bringing new products to life, accelerating the growth of our manufacturing capabilities & ensuring that our customer base recognise us as having an industry leading product catalogue.
This ambitious person will be responsible for a team that oversees:
- Production planning & optimisation
- Equipment & machinery maintenance and servicing
- Manufacturing & Robotic welding
- Steel processing & stockholding
- Powder coating & product finishing
- Stock control & CAPEX Spend
- Systems & IT
- Transportation & Distribution
- Training & Development
This person should be incredibly detailed & data driven, with an ability to inspire their team. They should also have an entrepreneurial mindset as they spot and exploit new opportunities for expansion. With HERMEQs portfolio of businesses constantly evolving this person will also have to quickly react to a fast-paced environment that is always changing. The start up mindset is still a core part of the companies vision and growth is embedded in our mentality.
- Basic Salary £70-80k
- Bonus Expectation £20-50k Year 1
- Total expected £100-130k
Location: Midlands (West Bromwich, Oldbury, Halesowen, Birmingham)
Hours of Work: 8am until 5pm
Travel: some travel between UK, IRE, NL from time to time
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
