Director of Transformation, up to £123K
Croydon has made the headlines for the wrong reasons. What went wrong and why has been widely reported and the impact of the failure is felt by residents and staff.
This is your chance to help write the next chapter in Croydon’s story to create a council that as the mayor’s business plan says – costs less, does less and delivers better.

You will lead the design, development and delivery of all the whole organisation transformation programme, incorporating the service level transformation programmes in each directorate. Your experience, analytical skills and delivery focus will be pivotal in driving innovation we need and improving outcomes. Your work will achieve significant cost savings, fundamentally reshape services and build a new inclusive relationship with the diverse communities of Croydon and council staff.
You will be a senior leader with a successful track record in delivering transformation programmes and driving change within large customer facing, complex organisations.
In this unique role you will work very closely with the chief executive and the Mayor, and with other directors, corporate directors to deliver the transformation programme which underpins the Mayor’s Business Plan, and the medium-term financial strategy and deliver a sustainable council by March 2027.
