The opportunity
Part of the Sport Systems Team, the Director of Rugby System will provide effective leadership, strategic planning and direction for the rugby system, incorporating all programmes including performance, club, junior, and opportunities to link with recreational and community provision. Specifically, you will take personal leadership responsibility for the performance programmes and provide support and oversight for the Head of Community Rugby to develop the other areas of the system. What we are looking for
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone to lead a complete rugby system, regarded as one of the best rugby offerings in the country. We have consistently had players obtain professional contracts and international honours in both the men’s and women’s games and now, in partnership with the WRU, are growing our programme and influence in the community and junior game. You will be a leader who is able to work with a wide-ranging team to drive a collaborative culture within the rugby system and drive the rugby system forward strategically. You will be experienced in performance rugby and be able to use this to take personal leadership responsibility for the performance programmes.
