We’re recruiting an experienced Director of Pharmacy to join our Central Services team. This is a key appointment for With You, as we continue our mission to radically improve people’s chances of getting better. As our new Director of Pharmacy, you will ensure that With You operates safely and within the law on all Medicines Management and Pharmacy related matters. You will be a vital member of our Senior Leadership Team, working closely with stakeholders to proactively contribute to continually driving improvement. Through your experience and knowledge, you will be the subject matter expert in Medicines Management, ensuring clear leadership and direction to your team through clinical supervisions and empowering them to to set and enforce the framework for Medicines Management and Pharmacy-related matters within our services. As well as this, you will:
- Set performance standards and create a Medicines Management and Pharmacy-related policy and operating framework in line with best practice, professional and legal requirements and national guidance
- Act as the designated Medicines Safety Officer (MSO), Controlled Drug Accountable Officer (CDAO) and Responsible Person (RP) for the Home Office Licences for WithYou
- Provide evidence-based assurance on WithYou’s compliance and effectiveness in Medicines Management and Pharmacy-related matters, including leading audits, managing clinical incidents involving medicines and developing ways of minimising risk of recurrence

To apply for this role, you should have current registration with the GPhC, along with substantial experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, ideally at Director level. We are looking for an individual with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to provide clear direction, through effective communication and innovative thinking, to a geographically dispersed team. It is important that you possess experience of devising Medicines Management programmes, along with clinical audit, prescribing and cost analysis and formulary management experience. You will be inherently passionate about improving outcomes for clients and will seek to create a culture of empowerment within your team to deliver excellent service across the organisation.
The advertised salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
