About the role and our team
Join the Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) as the Director of Operations!
The GSC is responsible for regulating all gambling in the Isle of Man and has competence for licensing in a new and developing medicinal cannabis sector. As part of your role, you will support The GSC in the safe delivery of key regulatory frameworks for these sectors as the Department continues to grow.
The role is varied and includes responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of operations, including functions of human resources, finance, corporate governance, information governance, as well systems and data.
As a senior member of staff, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of the department’s strategic objectives.
The GSC is a large and complex organisation and you will bring experience in maintaining control and expertise in multiple administrative and corporate governance disciplines through personal competence and/or networks of subject matter experts.
