About the role
First things first: you want to know what you're actually applying for. It's impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:
This role requires a highly experienced Corporate Finance professional with a proven track record of success in supporting a rapidly growing company through significant transformation.
This specific pathway is within Finance and will be primarily based from our Prague, Amsterdam, or London, on a Hybrid and or Remote basis.
✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it
- lead the company's funding initiative across both equity and debt dimensions
- build, run, and develop the funding strategy of the company. Enabling the next phase of growth, as well as future senior equity exercises
- identify and drive efficiencies across equity and debt dimensions on the balance sheet
️ You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- a solid foundation in investment banking and a proven track record of expertise in fundraising and IPOs.
- a deep understanding of the financial drivers of the business and the ability to apply this knowledge to support decision-making processes.
- ability to provide critical financial insights and guidance to help drive strategic decision-making and business growth.
- a proven track record of working on complex financial transactions, including debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures.
- experience in financial planning and analysis, and will be able to provide financial modeling support for key initiatives.
- experience in supporting senior management in making strategic decisions, and will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams to analyze and evaluate potential opportunities.
- a strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance, and will have experience working with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and will have experience managing competing priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines. managing relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and other financial institutions.
