Adarga's platform, powered by natural language processing and network science technology, is currently supporting mission-critical decision-making across defence and national security in the UK, as well as expanding into new sectors.
What will you be doing?
- Own the AI and ML Ops initiatives within Adarga.
- Work with your peers in engineering and product to continuously improve our core product.
- Manager of managers for data scientists and machine learning engineers. Work with them to identify career progression and development opportunities.
- Keep track of the evolving AI landscape to make sure we use the relevant SOTA models and ML techniques to improve our product.
- Join occasional customer calls to understand their use cases and identify improvements.
- Ensure adherence to responsible AI practices.
- Hire, coach and retain the best data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Plan and execute Data Science IP strategy.
Essential Requirements
- MS/PhD or equivalent in a quantitative discipline.
- Strong experience in leading AI/ML teams, technical & people management. Should have managed line managers.
- Excellent Python & software engineering skills. Experience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Expertise in end-to-end deployment of ML models.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing.
- Working with engineering & product teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Understanding of Knowledge Graphs & LLMs
- Experience in filing patents or managing IP strategy.
- Participation in fundraising for VC backed companies would be highly advantageous
- Previous experience of working with defence & national security customer.
- Experience in public speaking
- Willing to be a tech advocate for Adarga supporting with written content and speaking engagements
Further information
This is a hybrid role with an expectation that you can join us at our London office 2/3 days a week.
Interview process
- Initial Screening - In the first call, let our recruiter learn about you and your story to check a potential fit for Adarga. This is also a chance for you to ask first questions about the role and company. (Remote- 30 minutes)
- Introductory Interview- This will be a CV walkthrough with 2 members of our Data Science team
- Technical Interview – In this session, you will meet senior members of our data science team for a detailed assessment of your technical skills. (Remote ~1 hour)
- Final Interview - You will be invited to visit our London office to meet the executive leadership. This part of the interview will ask you to deliver a short presentation around a subject of your choice (Related to NLP/A.I/Data Science) (90 minutes)
