Overview
The Media Director will lead the successful execution of paid media programs in line with prescribed objectives and serve as the main point of contact for key media client engagements.
What You Will Do
Media Campaigns
- Interrogation of media brief from clients to pinpoint the role of media as it pertains to the various target audiences
- Creation of media strategy and overseeing tactical recommendations (e.g. channel selection, budget splits)
- Lead the development of media plans and media plan proposals for clients showcasing KPIs to determine success for Pharma, Healthcare and B2B brands.
- Coordinate with Analytics team to ensure plan alignment with measurement framework
- Close collaboration with the trafficking team to ensure tagging and trafficking is in strategic alignment and served as intended.
- Oversee optimization strategies to improve performance of campaigns
- Maintaining weekly internal and client status docs for media related items
- Oversee development of insights being pulled from reporting into recommended action items based on campaign performance
- Collaboration with account team to inform client billing
- Leading financial reconciliation efforts alongside finance team
- Staying informed on other areas of BAM's work with clients including web development and CRM
Leadership
- Act as a media leader on assigned clients and programs, including being present as main point of contact for media related topics
- Supervising, training and developing skills of assigned Media Planners and Specialists by managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy
- Solidifying and implementing media processes and tools
Innovation
- Propose innovative service offerings and partnerships within the realm of digital advertising and paid media
- Propose innovative optimization strategies for client campaigns
- Identify tools to facilitate optimization and efficiency measures
What You Will Bring
Experience
- Previous experience leading development of media strategies and plans
- Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience managing teams
- University degree or college diploma in a related field
Skills
- Ability to derive insight and optimization opportunities from data to build a strategic recommendation and enhance performance of paid media programs
- Strong knowledge of Programmatic, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Twitter advertising tools.

- Experience with the Google Marketing Platform
