The Opportunity:
Are you ready to revolutionize the way we grow and scale our extraordinary brand? Join us as the creative and strategic mastermind who will lead our exceptional team of Marketers to new heights. As the Director of Marketing, you will command the helm, steering our go-to-market strategies, new channel and product launches, and lead our integrated marketing activities. From captivating product launches + campaigns to forging powerful alliances with retail partners and external collaborators, you will be at the forefront of building our brand through remarkable campaigns.
You will be the glue that ties Marketing, and Creative together, an important connection in growing global brand presence and reach, reporting to the CMO. You are able to drive a clear brand growth strategy. You have the tools and leadership to establish alignment on marketing objectives with cross functional partners. And, you take a data-driven marketing approach to the marketing calendar and key initiatives to drive brand resonance and growth.
The Responsibilities:
Your key pillars of success include brand and product storytelling, building community (influencers, partnerships and social media), growing the retail channel and leading our Voice of the Customer strategy
Build and grow our retail marketing programs and in store experience including demo rep team
Develop and implement a dynamic brand strategy and supportive global, cross-channel marketing calendar
Own and manage insights-driven creative and marketing briefs, and lead go-to-market plans for new product launches, campaigns and activations
Working in lock step with our Director of Growth Marketing you embody a data-driven mindset, utilizing insights and analytics to refine and optimize our marketing initiatives, ensuring every move resonates with our target audience
Drive approach and process to guarantee high impact and effective speed to market for all campaigns and marketing content, balancing inspiration with rigor
Lead the development of programs, positioning, and consumer research to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, brand health, and brand sentiment
Develop a high-performing team of channel experts and marketing strategists
Increase brand awareness in both existing and new markets
Identify clear audience strategies to evolve and grow our customer base
Create programs that drive customer loyalty and increase brand trust
Chart the course for brand growth by crafting and executing transformative go-to-market strategies
Forge powerful alliances with retail partners and external collaborators, unlocking new avenues for brand expansion and market domination
Develop and oversee captivating product campaigns that emotionally connect with audiences and drive exceptional results
Collaborate closely with the Creative team, merging artistry and strategy to create captivating brand campaigns that leave an indelible mark on the world through alignment with our mission and values
Weave a compelling narrative around our brand, captivating hearts and minds through engaging storytelling and impactful messaging
Stay at the forefront of marketing trends and innovations, continuously evolving our strategies and approaches to stay ahead of the competition
Lead and develop our customer experience team and VOC development
Lead and inspire a team of brilliant Marketers, guiding them towards greatness and fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation
Qualifications:
8-10+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a strategic or creative agency for fast moving start-up environment or consumer goods experience
'Get it done' mentality - You deliver high quality on time, and come with solutions rather than problems
Accustomed to working in a fast‐paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
Experience building innovative brands and GTM campaigns
Fluency in digital marketing, including a clear understanding of building brands and communities in digital channels, social media content, etc.
Exceptional presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and respect for process/principles
3+ years of experience leading, growing and managing a team
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional organization
A strong sense of creativity and understanding of the creative process
An obsession with creating impactful consumer-centric experiences
Strong visual communication skills
