About this Position:

Title: Director, Human Resources, EMEA
Location: United Kingdom

As the HR Leader for EMEA, you will manage and lead a seasoned team of HR Business Partners across the region providing guidance and direction focusing on driving the needs of the business. You will also manage a small office management function to deliver the smooth operation of all our spaces including company offices and co-working office spaces.

Some of the things you'll do include:
  • Providing strategic advice and solutions to leadership on organizational planning, people management, executing change and employee relations
  • Translating business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives
  • Coaching leaders to effectively build strong teams and drive performance management
  • Effectively managing employee relations issues in EMEA whilst having a clear understanding of the Riverbed culture
  • Be a trusted senior advisor to client groups providing both strategic and tactical support for approx. 200 employees in 14 countries
  • Close collaboration with the EMEA Recruitment team to implement a successful recruitment life-cycle across multiple sites
  • Collaborate with subject matter expert and Global teams including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, HRIS and Operations to execute corporate wide HR initiatives.

Things that will make you an ideal candidate:
  • A background in HR business facing role, senior HR business Partner, with an EMEA-wide focus
  • The ability to inspire others into action and think creatively about solutions
  • Successful experience consulting with all levels of management; able to effectively build relationships by establishing trust, credibility and adding value
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with problem solving ability
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills
  • Well-developed experience in team building and successful track record of leading and developing an HR team
  • Expertise in leadership to manage with confidence, practicing sound judgment, business acumen and the ability to quickly make a strong contribution
  • You'll have previous experience of managing HR business partner teams, managing experienced team members, has been a manager of managers;
  • Prior experience in technology companies or comparable fast paced work environment
