RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Director of HR Americas, you will lead the Human Resources strategy for the Americas Region (US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil) ensuring its implementation improves and digitizes our people processes, creates competitive advantage through better business performance, and is aligned to organizational strategy.
- Coach and support the Americas HR team to implement and harmonize our global people processes with a focus on employee development, succession planning, performance management, and HR systems.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people plans that improve the tactical effectiveness of the human resources teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to business leaders in a variety of areas – including, but not limited to talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, employee retention, & manager/leadership development.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within existing HR policies and work practices to improve business interactions. Digitize process to eliminate duplication and improve data integrity is key for this role.
- Deploy leading practices from our HR Centers of Excellence, which are organized into Organization Development, HRIS, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards helping to deliver global projects on time and within budget.
- Leverage the Total Rewards team to implement our compensation philosophy & salary grading structures into the region.
- Design, develop and maintain a HR Scorecard ensuring consistency across the Americas Region that tracks monthly people metrics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
8 -15 years' related experience- Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business or similar with a HR specialization)
- Frequent travel (6-20%) into North America and Brazil
- Frequent overnight stays (6-20%)
- Passport required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong collaboration and influencing ability. Advanced knowledge of HR processes and practices that builds credibility. Able to identify and develop talent. Strong business acumen.
