About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Director to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the financial success of our organisation. As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all financial activities, ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Identify opportunities to improve ways of working with regard to digital transformation, efficiencies and processes.
- Identify and manage financial risks within the company by assessing potential risks.
- Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and creating a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to financial reporting and risk management.
- Oversee cash flow management, optimise working capital, and make prudent investment decisions.
- Prepare and review financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyse financial performance, variances, and trends to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management, board members, Hospital Managers, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring that there are effective systems for KPI performance in place to maintain financial aims of the company.
- Collaborate with auditors during external audits to ensure compliance and implement improvement strategies.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in strategic financial planning and demonstrated ability to support company growth and expansion.
- Proficient in financial management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in managing financial operations and driving process improvements.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
